The team consists of 15 full time and up to 80 part time staff.
Peter CornishPeter came to Pollybell in 1984 where he started managing the southern half of the farm. He took overall responsibility for running the farm in 1992 and 5 years later Peter was appointed Director responsible for all Loveden Estates’ farms. In 2008 Peter also became Commercial Director. Peter was a Member of the board of the Horticultural Development Company (HDC) and chair of the Vegetable Panel for a number of years. He has also been heavily involved with local drainage boards and now sits on the newly formed Isle of Axholme Water Level Management board.
James BrownJames, who joined Pollybell Organic Farm in January 2008, is the 5th generation of the family to continue the tradition of returning to Lincolnshire having qualified as a chartered accountant in London.
Rob CorlettRob Corlett was appointed as Pollybell's Technical Manager in January 2010. Prior to joining the team he was Farm Manager of Vitacress Salads based in the Pewsey Vale of Wiltshire, where he was responsible for the production of over 300 acres of conventional and organic baby leaf salads for over 12 years.
Andrew Sharpe Since joining us 10 years ago from a large farming company Andrews considerable skills are brought to bear organizing all the daily operations of the farm. Making sure the machinery runs efficiently and that field operations are carried out in a timely manner.
Craig BargeryCraig joined us five years ago after having gained extensive knowledge of dairy farming. He has been our harvest manger for the last three years, responsible for up to 100 harvest staff during the summer and dealing with the customers harvesting schedules.
Miles BentleyMiles joined the team in April 2004. With over 20 years of experience spanning the whole country, his knowledge has led to the farm being home to an ever growing number of rare and protected wildlife species. His enthusiasm enables us to continue to be at the forefront of farm conservation.
Jane CooperJane joined Pollybell in 1997 as a farm secretary. Her role has since developed and now includes everything from accounts through to audit, personnel responsibilities, day to day money market transactions and looking after the rent roll for Loveden Estates.
Helen DavisHelen lives locally in the Isle of Axholme and joined Pollybell in 2001. She has numerous duties in the office and is the first friendly voice you will hear when you telephone us.
Nigel is the 4th generation to be involved with the family farming business. Before returning to Lincolnshire in 1974, he qualified as a chartered accountant and worked in a merchant bank in London.
